  1. Ugh. Anytime someone starts talking about what "the best" poetry is, in any context, I pretty much want to die. What the hell does "the best" even mean?

    Isn't it obvious that there are some people out there who find the proliferation of poetry threatening and some who don't? How could it be negative? It's not like there are days go by where I don't get to read great poems if I want to. What could people possibly have to complain about?
